Custom Stubby Cooler FAQs

Turnaround times, sizes, artwork, shipping, bulk pricing and care — if it’s not answered here, ask us and we’ll reply the same business day.

Price & ordering

How much do custom stubby coolers cost?

Every order is quoted individually — pricing depends on quantity and artwork complexity, with volume pricing from 50 units. Your quote includes design, print and shipping, so what we quote is what you pay. Tell us the occasion and quantity and we’ll email your quote the same business day.

Is there a minimum order?

No. Order one cooler or two hundred — no minimum order quantity. Volume pricing kicks in at 50 units.

How fast will I get a quote?

Same business day. Send the occasion, rough quantity and your date — artwork optional at this stage.

What payment methods do you accept?

PayPal, credit card, or direct bank transfer — whichever suits. Payment details come with your quote.

Timing

How long does it take?

Standard orders are turned around in 7–10 business days from the moment you approve the proof. Rush orders are available for an extra fee — contact us to discuss your deadline. We’ll always give you a firm date before we start production.

I need them sooner — can you do rush orders?

Yes — rush options on request for an extra fee. Tell us your date in the quote form and we’ll confirm before you commit.

When should I order for a wedding?

Allow 7–10 business days from the day you approve your proof, plus 2–4 business days metro shipping. Tell us your date and we’ll confirm a firm timeline before you commit — order earlier in peak season.

Artwork & design

Can I send my own artwork, or do you design it?

Both work. Send us a print-ready file and we’ll proof and produce it. Don’t have artwork? Send a photo of the couple, the dog, or the logo and we’ll draw or set it up for you. Custom illustrated portraits are an actual hand-drawn piece — not clip art, not a filter.

What file types do you need?

PNG, JPG or PDF at 300dpi — preferred for clarity of image. Not sure what you’ve got? Send it anyway and we’ll check it before anything prints.

What’s the best format for a logo?

A vector logo is ideal — it stays razor sharp at any size. No vector? A high-resolution PNG, JPG or PDF at 300dpi works well too. The cleaner the file you send, the cleaner it prints.

Should my logo or design have a transparent background?

If your design is meant to sit directly on the cooler colour, send a PNG with a transparent background so there’s no white box around it. Not sure? Send what you have — we set the layout up and show you exactly how it’ll look on your proof before anything prints.

Do you do fluoro / neon colours?

Yes — fluorescent colours are available on request. We print with Fluorescent Pink/Magenta and Fluorescent Yellow alongside standard cyan and black, for designs that need to pop. You’ll see the colour on your proof before anything prints.

Do I see it before it’s printed?

Always. A digital proof goes to you for written sign-off before anything prints. One round of revisions is included.

My photo is blurry / old / damaged — can you still use it?

Send what you have and we’ll have a look. You’ll see a digital proof before anything is printed, so you’ll know exactly how the photo will appear. An extra fee may apply.

Product

What’s the difference between neoprene and foam?

Neoprene is the wetsuit material — closed-cell, flexible, insulating, and water-resistant. Foam coolers (the cheap promotional ones) are open-cell, lose their structure quickly, and don’t insulate nearly as well. Neoprene also takes a sublimation print, which is why the artwork lasts. If a stubby cooler costs $2, it’s foam. If it lasts a decade, it’s neoprene.

What sizes do you make?

We cover every common Australian drink size — standard 375 ml cans and stubbies, slim cans (250–330 ml seltzers and pre-mixed drinks), longneck bottles, and skinny European-style bottles. Tell us what you’re cooling and we’ll match the stubby cooler to it.

What’s on the base?

A non-slip shark-skin base — grips wet tables and boat decks instead of sliding.

What are overlocked edges?

An optional stitched edge finish along the top and bottom rim. Customers mention it in reviews — ask about it when you order.

How do I care for it?

Cold hand wash, lay flat to dry. Don’t put neoprene in the dryer or iron the printed face. Treated this way they last years — we’ve got customers using stubby coolers we made eight summers ago that still look the same.

Shipping & after

Do you ship Australia-wide?

Yes — every state and territory, including regional and remote. Most metro deliveries arrive in 2–4 business days after dispatch. We’ll send tracking the moment your order leaves the workshop on the Gold Coast.

Is shipping included in my quote?

Yes — quotes include design, print and shipping. What we quote is what you pay.

Can I return or change my order?

Every stubby cooler is made to order and personalised, so we can’t accept change-of-mind returns once production has started. If something arrives damaged or there’s a fault on our end, we’ll replace it — no argument. The proof step earlier in the process is there to catch design issues before anything is printed.

Corporate

Do you do bulk or corporate orders?

Yes. We handle branded stubby coolers for breweries, sporting clubs, weddings, conferences, and trade shows. Volume pricing kicks in at 50 units. Send quantity, deadline, and a rough idea of artwork — we’ll come back with a quote.

Can you match our brand colours?

Proofs are checked against your brand guidelines before print, and nothing prints until your proof is approved in writing.
